Learners will build a portfolio of evidence that will include written work, a teaching log and teaching observations. The qualification can be completed remotely by distance learning.

Typically, distance learning students complete this course within 6-9 months although students are able to take up to 12 months to complete the qualification

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence which must cover all assessment criteria of the units selected.
Assessment methods include written essays, a training log (30hrs), self-reflection and 3 x one hour teaching observations.

Pre-requisites:
Learners must be aged 19+ years to be enrolled onto this course. You must be in a training or teaching role, or moving into a teaching role in the near future as you must be able to log 30 hours of teaching/training and be observed for three hours.
