Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training CET course is a RQF qualification and regulated by Ofqual; replaced the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) course is designed for those who are working or intending to work as a teacher/trainer in any specialty subject area.
All candidates, whether pre-service (Currently not working) or in-service (Currently working) must have access to 30 hours of teaching.
This qualification is suitable for those delivering teaching and training in any learning discipline eg University, College, Training provider, any organisation or Company either paid, Volunteer, full time, part time or any kind of teaching.

They will be able to use initial and diagnostic assessments and plan and deliver inclusive teaching and learning.
They will also be able to assess learning and use appropriate resources to support effective learning. This course provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills for a career in teaching.
You will study six units which build to a minimum total of 36 credits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Planning to meet the needs of learners in education & training: 3 credits
Delivering education and training: 6 credits
Assessing learners in education & training: 6 credits
Using resources for education & training: 3 credits
Inclusive practice: 15 credits

Entry requirement?
Candidates for this course must have completed Level 3 Award in Education & Training or Former PTLLS Course (C&G 6302 or 6502). Candidates for this course should have a good standard of verbal communications skills.
