Course Overview:
This unit specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the basic level, consisting of scaffolding work connected with the operation or use of modular or pre-fabricated scaffolds, cantilevered materials hoists with a maximum working load of 500kg, ropes and gin wheels, safety nets and static lines, and bracket scaffolds (tank and formwork) for licensing purposes.

This unit is based upon the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

Course Duration/Delivery Mode
This unit of competency is delivered over 5 days and consists of theory and practical demonstration including practice time. Delivery is at All Global Training’s training facilities or at your workplace by arrangement.
Public courses are completed at our facility at 4/ 66 Coonawarra Road Winnellie, day courses start at 8am on weekdays and weekends and our night courses commence at 6pm.

This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to test the working atmosphere, using electronic test apparatus, to find out if it is safe for the proposed work. Workplace atmospheres may include visible and invisible hazards and hazardous surfaces.
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a HRWL licence to operate this plant.
This unit covers the competency required to manage and monitor workplace emergency prevention and control structures for a complex workplace or a defined group of workplaces.
Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) course is offered by SWQ Training Pty Ltd.
This course specifies the outcomes required to perform slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and/or the directing of the crane operator in the movement of the load when the load is out of view of the crane/ operator for licencing purposes.
