Course Overview:
This unit specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the basic level, consisting of scaffolding work connected with the operation or use of modular or pre-fabricated scaffolds, cantilevered materials hoists with a maximum working load of 500kg, ropes and gin wheels, safety nets and static lines, and bracket scaffolds (tank and formwork) for licensing purposes.

This unit is based upon the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

Course Duration/Delivery Mode
This unit of competency is delivered over 5 days and consists of theory and practical demonstration including practice time. Delivery is at All Global Training’s training facilities or at your workplace by arrangement.
Public courses are completed at our facility at 4/ 66 Coonawarra Road Winnellie, day courses start at 8am on weekdays and weekends and our night courses commence at 6pm.

The EWP Verification of Competency (VOC) course is aimed at participants who currently hold an above 11-meter boom type EWP licence (high risk work licence of class WP).
This course is suited to a wide variety of work roles and industries. And also for those individuals who volunteer with organisations such as the CFA, Surf Lifesaving, and sporting clubs.
Those requiring a Yellow Card to operate elevating work platforms under 11m. (A State regulatory high risk licence is required for EWP over 11m).
This unit covers the entering and working in confined spaces. It includes planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, entry and working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up.
Equips workers with the knowledge and skills to safely work at height in various situations. 100% face-to-face training. This nationally recognised course covers theoretical and practical aspects of working at height.
