Content Summary
Option 1 – Boom-type elevating work platform WORK READY (3 days)
This is a 3 day intensive training and assessment course. Participants will attend on all 3 days to complete theory, practical training and assessment with our qualified trainer and assessor.
This course option is suitable for participants without access to a workplace to gain experience, or workplaces who don’t have the resources to supervise staff while gaining experience.
Learners must meet a level of practical ability before undergoing a Workplace Health & Safety Queensland licensing practical assessment on the final day. If at any time, the assessor recognises the need for the participant to undergo additional training, participants will be given their log book to obtain additional experience in the workplace or offered further hours to complete at an additional practical training session(s). Should this be required, re-attendance fees may apply.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment and the required paperwork to apply for a Wh&s Qld High Risk Boom-type Elevating Work Platform (wp) Licence.
Candidates for this course will be required to complete the Theory session (1 day) and perform a practical pre-assessment to identify competence and readiness for the Workplace Health & Safety Queensland licensing practical assessment.
