This training program covers the outcomes required to perform basic rigging work associated with the movement of plant and equipment, steel erections, hoists (including mast climbing hoists), placement of pre-cast concrete, safety nets and static lines, perimeter safety screens and shutters; and cantilever crane loading platforms for licensing purposes.
This course has been designed for individuals who currently work or intend to work as a rigger.
This course is for students who reside in the ACT or can satisfy the ACT regulator that circumstances exist that justify a residential waiver for issuing a HRWL

This Verification of Competency (VOC) Rigging - Basic (RB) assessment course confirms that an individual has maintained the skills and knowledge attained in CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level or equivalent.
This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides applicants with the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Licence to Perform Rigging duties.
This unit specifies the outcomes required to safely rig all types of hoists, cranes and conveyors as well as tilt slabs, perform dual lifts and all rigging tasks associated with demolitions.
We offer industry-recognised dogging and rigging training right here in Tomago, Newcastle, inside our purpose-built training facility, or we can provide training on-site in your workplace.
A basic rigging licence encompass the requirements for a dogging licence. To apply for a basic rigging licence you must hold, or have previously passed assessment for, a dogging licence.
