This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to plan, prepare & complete basic rigging work as prescribed by the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
On completion of this course, participants will be able to prepare rigging equipment; erect structural steel; use a safety harness; outline responsibilities and work safely at heights.
Pre-Requisite Unit:

Safely plan and conduct basic rigging duties
Have a full understanding of most common types of FSWR and their particular applications
Set up winches, sheaves and purchases for FSWR and fibre rope

Upon successful completion of this course, student will be awarded a Statement of Attainment and the High Risk Work License* to Perform Rigging Basic Level by WorkSafe WA.
