This course qualifies you to become a licensed rigger-basic in the construction industry. The duration of this course is 5 days and it is conducted at our premises in Regents Park NSW.
While enrolled with us you will have access to free Wi-Fi, sunscreen, helmets and gloves. We also have a filtered water bubbler onsite to keep you hydrated and we are a 2-minute walk from a café.
Upon successful completion of this course the participant will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level equivalent to unit CPCCLRG3002A, which has been superseded recently.
Who is eligible?
Participants need to be over 18 years of age, must meet basic required language, literacy and numeracy levels (LLN), be able to produce 100 points of ID, be able to obtain a USI and a valid RB licence (Licence to perform rigging basic level), and be able-bodied in order to move around and work with other staff.

This course is designed to ensure that participants have the skills and knowledge required to perform basic rigging work associated with movement of plant and equipment, steel erections, hoists (including mast climbing hoists), placement of pre-cast concrete
Riggers use mechanical load shifting equipment and associated gear to move, place or secure loads, including plant, equipment or members of a building or structure. Riggers ensure the stability of those members and set up and dismantle cranes and hoists.
To provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to undertake Basic Rigging activities in accordance with Safe Work Australia’s National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
Licence To Perform Rigging Basic Level course is offered by Advanced Industry Training.
