Drowning Prevention is one of the key roles of Singapore Life Saving Society. SLSS aims to reduce the cases of drowning in Singapore through promoting water safety measures and teaching lifesaving skills.
As a member of the International Life Saving Federation (ILSF), SLSS participates in the biennial conference that brings together its member organisations and the world’s leading researchers, practitioners and policy makers to present and discuss the latest research and thinking in drowning prevention, lifesaving, rescue, water safety, lifesaving sport and related fields at the World Conference on Drowning Prevention (WCDP).
