The lifting supervisor course covers safe operation & lifting procedures / techniques to maintain safe job site lifting operations. The course is useful for supervisors, safety officers and riggers for industrial and construction worksites.

Holders of lifting supervisor certificates may work in the oil & gas projects, building and maintenance industry or construction sites. Candidates who pass the examination and assessment will receive tüv middle east certificate and id card. Failed candidates will receive certificate of attendance.

Course objectives

  • Train the participants on how to ensure safe lifting operations are performed through effective supervision.
  • Use and inspect lifting equipment in accordance with british and industry standards.
  • Enable to supervise the examination & maintenance of all loose lifting equipment within his area of responsibility.
  • To maintain a lifting equipment register and copy of certificates for each piece of lifting equipment under his control.
  • To ensure personnel under him are competent to perform the job & the color code system is implemented.

  • A highly participative 3 days course, with theoretical (2 days) and practical assessment & examination (1 day)
  • Objective type of questions for written exam which will be in english.
  • Maximum number of attendees is 5 persons

Who should attend?

Potential and existing operators who received no formal instruction and those requiring refresher training.

What they require?

  • To complete a 1 day training program.
  • To pass a written with 80% pass mark (100 objective questions) / practical examination.
  • To have atleast a minimum of 1 year experience or exposure on working in a capacity of operation, maintenance, repair, inspection, safety or supervision with lifting.
