We also teach kids age-appropriate self-defence skills, such as the importance of not wandering off on their own.
But the best part of karate is not any kick, strike or block. The most powerful skills we teach are those of resilience, self-control, positive attitude and respect for self and others. These skills build strong foundations for success at school and beyond.

Defend Yourself With Confidence Kali Sikaran is not just about kicking and punching. You will learn to stay safe, be stronger mentally and physically, inside & out.
Our kids karate classes ensure children at similar stages are grouped together to build their confidence, discipline and to ensure they’re having the most fun possible.
You will then be joined with the rest of the class to participate in self defence, sparring (controlled non contact fighting and other activities. There will always be a sempai to assist and guide you through your first class to ensure you have full understanding of the class.

The Knockdown karate competition system pioneered by Kyokushin has been adopted by many different karate styles and organizations. Over the years many other styles have developed from their Kyokushin ancestry.
