DurationOur Little G's class is for your little one who loves to move! This is a very special class for our tiniest dancers with a focus on learning, growing and developing in a fun, nurturing, social and exciting environment.
Our Little G's learn to move to the music whilst learning Irish dance basics and rhythm through a range of games and activities designed to excite, engage and develop integral skills for dance and life.
The Gregory Academy Of Irish Dance is Canberra's Northside Irish dance school established in 1983.
Irish dancing classes are taught in Belconnen and are available for all ages (2.5+) and for all skill levels - from beginners to open championship. Our dance classes cater for fun and fitness, performance and competition, solo and team dancing in a friendly, caring, family orientated and safe environment.
Enrolments are taken any time throughout the year.
This class is ideal for our youngest little dancers, especially devised for their young bodies and their ability.
Dancing is a great way for your kids to socialise in a fun, safe and fully supervised environment. Ranging from ages 4-12, both girls and boys participate in partnered dancing, using progressive dances to give them opportunity to change partners and interact with each other.
For 3 and 4 year-olds this class is created to encourage musicality, co-ordination and locomotion skills, listening and recall. It gently introduces technique through imaginative sequences and offers the children an array of styles.
We have a well established innovative preschool dance program offered to children aged 2-5 years old welcoming boys and girls. Our preschool program offers Fairy Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop & Circus.
Our Toddler classes are for children who are ready to take instruction from their teacher and allow their family to leave the studio during the class.
