Learning Objective
This training is designed to provide a structured live emergency response exercise for the emergency response team of an organization. Such training would enhance the competency level of ERT members so that they can react quickly enough to minimize the damage to an organization asset and all other resources, including employee and production time loss.
Methodology
Training sessions include classroom lectures, exercises, group work, and discussion.
Target Participants
Plant Manager, HSE Committee, Emergency Response Team, Supervisor, and any staff involved in emergency planning or response.
Course Outline
Overview of typical Emergency Preparedness and Response Process
Discussion of established Emergency Preparedness and Response SOP
Site visit to the identified risk area. Firefighting / spillage control equipment check
ERP exercise scenario discussion and finalization
Fire Drill. Coverage: initiation, response, normalization, and termination of an emergency situation.
Chemical Spill Drill. Coverage : Scenario briefing, practical with controlled spill (client prepare spill kit, spill material, exercise area)
Wrap-up: presentation and observation discussion
Training Certificate
