  • Planned Maintenance, Scheduled (Statutory) And Breakdown Maintenance
    • Differences between planned maintenance, scheduled (statutory) maintenance and breakdown maintenance    
    • Work area inspection    
    • Collecting historical production information    
    • Collecting historical maintenance information    
  • Communicate Maintenance Requirements
    • Job card completion    
    • Obtaining work permit    
    • Pre-warning of maintenance area    
    • Obtaining feedback in planned maintenance work    
    • Making requests for special equipment or requirements    
  • Preparing Equipment For Maintenance
    • Mechanical isolation of equipment    
    • Making equipment safe in line with workplace procedures    
    • Electrical isolation of equipment    
    • Making work areas safe    
    • Restriction of access    
  • Perform Post Maintenance Tasks
    • Performing post maintenance area inspection    
    • Ensuring work permit is signed-off    
    • Preparing equipment for operation    
    • Completing shutdown record    
  • Course Notes
    • Learner will be able to demonstrate knowledge understand planned maintenance, scheduled (statutory) and breakdown maintenance. The learner should also be able to communicate maintenance requirements, prepare equipment for maintenance and perform post maintenance tasks.
