The course will review safety measures when doing servicing, maintenance, / repair-related work on equipment where there is the potential for sudden energization of the equipment.

The principle is that the employee working on the equipment has complete control over the equipment for the duration of servicing, maintenance, / repair. All hazardous energy sources (both primary and secondary) will be identified, and methods to control these energy sources will be discussed.
