Lockout Tagout

Lockout Tagout Training is offered by VELOSI. This training course ensures that staff members involved in the servicing or maintenance of industrial equipment understand the importance of energy control and know how to apply energy isolation and Lockout Tagout procedures. 

Lockout-tagout (LOTO) is a safety procedure which outlines the steps which must be taken to disable machinery or equipment that could release energy or start unexpectedly during servicing or maintenance activities. 

LOTO procedures safeguard workers who may be exposed to serious physical harm or death if energy is not controlled. To ensure that LOTO procedures are understood and followed, all employees must be trained in the safe application, usage and removal of these energy control devices.
