Lockout/Tagout Training Online Training describes the features and implementation of OSHA’s Control of Hazardous Energy standard 29 CFR 1910.147.

The material in this course is intended for all affected workers. It provides essential information for authorized workers to safely perform work on both electrical and non-electrical (moving/rotating, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, or thermal) energy sources.

Improper use of Lockout Tagout can cause a sudden release of energy that can cause crushing, cutting, lacerating, amputation, bone fractures, and even death. 

Our course will teach you how to protect yourself and how to use and work with Lockout/Tagout devices properly! Students will be introduced to the different types of hazardous energy, regulatory requirements, Lockout/Tagout definition, and when it applies, individual responsibilities, and procedures.

Workers who operate or work in the area of equipment that is being serviced or where maintenance is being performed under Lockout/Tagout, and workers who perform maintenance and repair activities and need to practice Lockout/Tagout procedures will need this training course!
