Tempo Red was developed and redirected by Diana Sakaris who was previously the Head of Department of Babies and Tiny Tots at Brent Street Studios.
Diana took over Tempo Red in 2008 and in 2011 moved into brand new state of the art studios in Brookvale designed with fully sprung floors, full mirrors, bars and a great sound system to accommodate the growing needs of the school.
Classes are run during the school term six days a week, offering a wide variety of dance genres for children, both girls and boys, with our babyballet® program starting from the tender age of 18 months old.
Our RAD Ballet exams are held mid-year and our results are of an excellent standard.
Lyrical is a Slow Modern/Neo-Classical style of dance incorporating classical technique with modern expressions and a slight contemporary feel.
In this class, students learn a style of dance that is a fusion of both jazz and ballet techniques. Students will learn routines that utilise emotions and fluid movements.
