We offer a variety of programs at our studio, ranging from a recreational program for those who want to get their bodies moving and learn new skills, to a high-intensity, high-commitment level competitive program designed to prepare dancers for the professional world of dance. We offer classes in a diverse range of disciplines to accommodate aspiring dancers of all interests.
These are lyrical jazz technique classes. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of two ballet classes as well as competitive or pre-professional jazz. Placement will be determined by the teacher and students will be notified when they are ready to participate in this class.
Dancers can learn a jazz, ballet, tap, pointe, lyrical, or contemporary solo or duet. Classes include choreography and 10 half-hour private sessions with the choreographer.
Lyrical dance most often combines jazz and ballet. It focuses on strength, flexibility, lines and emotion to music, or especially the lyrics. Very technique based, lyrical requires both a strong ballet and jazz technique. Not usually recommended for beginners or students under the age of 10.
The beauty of ballet and the strength of jazz. This class develops control and balance through emotion and interpretation of music. It is story-telling through expression and dance.
These classes involve both Lyrical and Modern styles of dance and movement. These styles are based on expressing ones self through dance, movement, gesture, and mime the lyrics and or feeling of the music.
