NYU Tandon's Summer Program for Machine Learning is a two-week course that introduces high school students to the computer science, data analyses, mathematical techniques, and logic that drive the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Innovations and new applications of these fields are emerging every day: in video and image recognition technologies; interactive voice controls for homes; autonomous vehicles; real-time monitoring and traffic control; cutting-edge diagnostic medical technologies; and in ever more aspects of our daily lives.
The Machine Learning program is overseen by faculty from the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments and their graduate students. It's a unique opportunity to learn directly from some of today's most innovative researchers in the field.
Students will learn the core principles in machine learning such as model development through cross validation, linear regressions, and neural networks. They will develop an understanding of how logic and mathematics are applied both to "teach" a computer to perform specific tasks on its own and to improve continuously at doing so along the way.
Since its founding in 1831, NYU has been an innovator in higher education, reaching out to an emerging middle class, embracing an urban identity and professional focus, and promoting a global vision that informs its 20 schools and colleges.
Today, that trailblazing spirit makes NYU one of the most prominent and respected research universities in the world, featuring top-ranked academic programs and accepting fewer than one in eight undergraduates.
Anchored in New York City and with degree-granting campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai as well as 12 study away sites throughout the world, NYU is a leader in global education, with more international students and more students studying abroad than any other US university.
NYU students come from nearly every state and 133 countries, and the university draws upon the diverse backgrounds of our faculty, staff, and students, ensuring its scholarship and teaching benefit from a wide range of perspectives.
NYU takes seriously its role as an engine of social mobility, and stands out among the top US universities in its representation of low-income and first-generation students within its community.
Now among the largest private universities in the US, NYU provides a rigorous, demanding education to more than 65,000 students and undertakes $1 billion in research annually.
It counts among its faculty recipients of the highest scholarly honors and is a top producer of patents and revenue from licensing among US universities. NYU has a vast network of alumni who have gone on to succeed across professions, from the sciences to the arts and government, throughout the world.
This skillset is in high demand, as machine learning algorithms now run the majority of trading on Wall Street and the product recommendations at big companies like Amazon, Spotify, and Netflix.
Accelebrate's  Machine Learning with TensorFlow & Keras training teaches attendees how to develop real-world machine learning applications powered by TensorFlow and Keras, popular technologies for building production-grade deep learning models. Students also learn how to use an HTTP API to retriev...
The Machine Learning Pipeline on AWS course explores how to use the machine learning (ML) pipeline to solve a real business problem in a project-based learning environment.
[AI INTRO] is a math heavy course offered at KTBYTE, and require students to have mastered self-guided learning.
Why write programs when the computer can instead learn them from data? In this class you will learn how to make this happen, from the simplest machine learning algorithms to quite sophisticated ones.
