Make-up Application

This course is suitable for anyone interested in starting out in the beauty industry or who is interested in carrying out day, evening and special occasion make-up application on self or clients. You will complete pre-course learning before your training day on Health and Safety aspects and the anatomy of the skin, muscle and bone structure.

The training day will include; hygiene of therapist and client safety, tools and equipment, skin diseases/disorders, makeup products/benefits/ingredients, consultation, aftercare advice, skin analysis, cleansing and preparation of the skin for the practical application of all make-up techniques to include highlighting and shading. Students will learn a day, evening and special occasion make-up.
