This course is suited for individuals who operate a small business, and covers the skills and knowledge required to implement financial management strategies.

When you successfully complete this course you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency BSBESB407 Manage finances for new business ventures.

 

The Blue Dog Training flexible course structure allows you to fit your study into your work, family and social commitments. Completion of the course will require you to:

  • Undertake directed self-paced research and study
  • Complete and submit the assessment activities outlined in the Assessment Workbook developed for this unit of competency
  • Undertake an assessment conversation with a Blue Dog Training assessor.

 

Under fee-for-service arrangements you can commence your course at any time throughout the year. Under industry funding arrangements the timelines for enrolment and completion are linked to the funding cycle which applies to your enrolment. 

These details will be explained to you prior to acceptance of your enrolment. The length of the course is 60 nominal hours. It is expected you will be able to complete the course within six (6) weeks from enrolment.
