Peter Neufeldt is the president of Peak Performance Consulting. He has a Master of Social Work degree, has worked in various public sector management and human resource positions.
Has owned several businesses in Regina, and has provided corporate, personal consulting services and coaching to local, national and international organizations through his consulting business since 1989.
This is the first stage of the three levels of Corporate Leadership. The focus of this course will be on the essentials of leadership in the corporate world as well as, in the fast-changing global economy.
Project Managers not only focus on managing projects but also on ‘leading from the middle’. Based on original research carried out by our project management instructional faculty, this course examines how leaders think, how they interact with their teams and how they navigate projects.
This course evolves thinking from leader-centric to partner-centric. And, unlike many leadership courses, this is not about self-help: it is a skill-building course on how to be a great leader of others! Because you’re not leading if no one is following.
This includes the importance of listening for understanding, creating an environment of accountability, and identifying individual versus team needs. Participants will gain the how-to to establish and maintain trust within teams as a leader.
Leadership is necessary in any size of group or enterprise. Groups may have a single leader who is capable of performing several leadership roles, or there may be multiple leaders who each handle a different leadership function.
