listening and speaking:

  • daily greetings

  • talk about family members
  • expression of date and time
  • order food in a restaurant

Cultural topics: Chinese Zodiac, Chinese Kung fu, Chinese traditional holiday, Chinese food, Chinese songs

 

Mandarin Chinese Beginners B

phonics: rules of pinyin, differentiation of some difficult initials and finals, tone Sandhi

writing: single component characters, writing rules, basic strokes of Chinese Characters

listening and speaking:

  • daily greetings and classroom language
  • introduce yourself (name, nationality, age, Chinese Zodiac)
  • telephone number
  • talk about family members and friends
  • color and clothes
