Mandarin Chinese Language Courses

The tremendous enthusiasm I have for teaching languages and being a "cross-cultural ambassador" is truly in my blood. I have always been proud of my Chinese heritage and eager to embrace different cultures.

 My education has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to further pursue my passion. I received my Bachelor's degree in linguistic studies and cross-cultural communication and later a Master's degree in Education and Journalism. 

In the past, I successfully taught English to China's national Olympic shooting and synchronized swimming teams and was a bilingual event hostess for local foreign embassies and consulates in China.

Marvelous Mandarin has been one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me here in Austin Texas. I started with only two students and up until today have taught more than 300, with ages ranging from 18 months old to as old as 78.

My students come from various backgrounds and learning requirements, from CEOs of large multinationals who travel to China on regular basis to people who just always had a wish to learn Chinese.

I have given speeches and training sessions on the topic of "Chinese Culture & Business Etiquette" at several local American companies. I've also written two sets of coursebooks that I designed specifically for my students and received great feedback.

I've so far enjoyed every minute at Marvelous Mandarin meeting new people and sharing my native language and heritage. I also look forward to meeting you!
