We are a small family run business located in Montreal’s Little Italy district that was created in early 2016 upon the closure of Italmelodie, an iconic Montreal institution.

Some of our teaching and administrative staff are veterans of the venerable institution while others are veterans of the music industry.

As a reputable educational establishment, our primary goal is to provide you with the tools you will need to make your musical learning experience rewarding and enjoyable.

We are a professional team of dedicated educators and administrators at your service.

If you’re not having any fun or you’re finding it overwhelming to learn to play a musical instrument, maybe you just need to talk to your teacher so he can reorient his lesson plan for you or you can speak with an administrator and we’ll be happy to advise you.

Seán Riley has been a practicing musician since 1979 and has since studied a multitude of genres. In addition to the guitar (electric and acoustic), he also plays the mandolin, classical flute and harmonica and he sings as well. His preferences are in modern jazz, avant-garde, country, R&B, soul, acid jazz and funk. He attended the music Conservatory at Vanier College as well as McGill University where he studied jazz performance. He also studied with private tutors such as Art Roberts and Greg Clayton.
