Elevated work platforms & Aerial lifts (Boom Lifts / Man Lifts) are excellent tools for increased productivity while conducting work at heights. These platforms help to lift workers and their equipment to heights of greater than 100 feet.
A supervisor is a person who is authorized by an employer to oversee or direct the work of other workers. The OH&S Regulations place rigorous demands on supervisors. Due to the responsibility, the supervisor has for the safety of workers under his or her direction.
If you are working on an Oil Sands member site, you will need the Oil Sands Safety Association version of Elevated Work Platform (if working on man-lifts)
Introduces the concepts of how accidents/incidents are caused and provides evidence to support the analysis and investigation of these causes. Analyzes a variety of sources, from historical perspectives to current behavioural theories, for their application to today's workplaces.
