This course is appropriate for anyone who is required to undertake basic manual handling activities as part of their job role. The course will provide the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to help safeguard them from the associated risks. 

This course aims to provide learners with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to safeguard themselves from the risks of associated with basic manual handling operations in the workplace. 

 

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify how these components can be injured as a result of manual handling operations

  • Identify and demonstrate safer manual handling techniques
