Objectives
The aim of this course is to empower the participants to be able to undertake practical risk assessments prior to undertaking a manual task.
During the training session, case studies & real manual handling situations are assessed and their functions are reviewed by all, allowing participants to develop a confidence in their own assessment abilities.

This unit describes participants skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and Industry sectors.
By completing this course the participant will gain the knowledge and the skills to:Plan and prepare for operating an elevating work platform. Operate excavator in line with established requirements. Lift, carry and place materials to complete work activity. Select, remove, fit and use attachments
The training to achieve this High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF), consists of 3 components: Formal theory training, supervised work experience and assessment. We offer three options to obtain the licence.
To operate a Forklift, you need a LF High Risk Work Licence. The TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a forklift truck  course provides the formal training and accredited assessment which will allow you to apply for a Queensland HRW Licence for Forklift Truck - LF.
Forklift operation has been classed as high risk work since 1 September 2010. To undertake this work you need a Licence to Perform High Risk Work.
