Manual Handling can be accredited either with the CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health), ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register) or certification issued directly by ourselves.
We are a training company based in Medway who specialise in health and safety, and we understand the importance of manual handling as it involves the moving and handling of just about everything in life generally.
The usual candidates for manual handling training would be those managing heavy loads such as warehousemen, labourers, porters, groundsmen etc. However, office workers who are mostly sitting at workstations are not exempt from manual handling injuries or manual handling accidents.
To prevent injuries in and out of the workplace we run several manual handling courses: basic manual handling (introduces manual handling techniques to employees to minimise risk of injury), manual handling for management and risk assessors (includes manual handling risk assessments and enables management to induct new staff until formal training can be given), manual handling train the trainer (manual handling instructor course), facilitating in-house training.
Manual Handling can be accredited either with the CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health), ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register) or certification issued directly by ourselves. All will fully comply with the current HSE regulations for training.
How do you benefit from manual handling training?
We have all been moving and handling loads for years and our manual handling courses educate individuals on how the machine (their body) works, enabling them to make qualified decisions for themselves, applying manual handling techniques, preventing manual handling accidents and injuries
