Basic written and spoken English is required to understand manual handling policies and procedures, Hazardous Manual handling Compliance Code and undertake the assessment tasks associated with this unit.
Participants will complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment to assess their capacity to meet unit requirements.
Applicants must also have the physical capacity to meet the manual work requirements of the unit.
