The Aims of the Course:
To provide operatives with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to safely carry out Manual Handling duties as per the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 92.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
Identify the need to avoid Manual Handling.
Understand the correct method for lifting Kinetically.
Understand their own Limitations in terms of lifting.
Carry out the TILE Risk Assessment.
Safe Lifting techniques.
Anatomy of the Back.
Common Injuries and how to avoid them.
