Adhering to the All Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme, this 1/2 day course trains people to lift and carry objects safely. Through introducing manual handling risk and appropriate manual handling techniques, you can reduce the risk to employees from manual handling activities.
Who is it for?
This course is suitable and strongly recommended for all staff at all levels. Particularly for anyone whose work involves repetitive actions like lifting, pulling or carrying objects.
This includes those who work in manufacturing or factory environments, construction and building site workers, manual labourers and delivery drivers. You may also find it helpful if you work in an office.
How is it assessed?
Delegates are continually assessed by our highly experienced St John Ambulance Cymru trainers. This is done through hands-on practical training and Q&A sessions during the course.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this training course, delegates will receive a St John Ambulance Cymru certificate, valid for 2 years.
