Entry Requirements
You must have a Grade 9 or equivalent qualification to start at NC(V) L2.
You must have passed the previous level register for NC(V) L3 and L4.
Pass & Certification Requirements
The pass mark is 50% per subject for each of the vocational subjects.
The pass mark for Life Orientation and First Additional Language is 40% each.
The pass mark for Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy is 30% each.
In order to obtain the NC(V) qualification at a particular NQF level and to progress to the next level you must pass all seven (7) subjects. You will not be certified if you fail any subject.
Please note that to be certified the Internal Continuous Assessment (ICASS) mark is compulsory for fundamental subjects. The ICASS mark plus the examination mark is considered for certification.
Students must complete both internal (ICASS) and external (examinations) assessments to be resulted. Both components must be completed in the same academic year.

Marketing is a critical function in business and works hand in hand with sales. Marketers work in a variety of sectors and fields and are involved in branding, research, advertising, communication, PR, digital and social media.
This short course introduces a student to the fundamental concepts and principles of visual merchandising. It is important to have an understanding of client briefs and preparing for displays before the ?nal installation.
The programme progresses through three levels. Each N level takes place over one semester. After each semester, students are eligible for a National Certificate on that level. We recommend continuing through all three levels in order to qualify for the National Diploma.
The National Certificate (Vocational) Marketing course is a 3-year qualification primarily aimed at providing the certificate holder the opportunity to be employed in industry without any additional training.
Brand Management course is offered by NMC (Nsikayezwe Management Consultants). Brand Management course covers a wide range of brand management fundamentals which includes, building, maintaining, maximising brand value and protecting a brand.
