The Massage Therapy 650 introduces students to the subjects of Massage Theory and Technique, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Ethics, Professionalism, and Business Practices.
The Massage Therapy 650 introduces students to the subjects of Massage Theory and Technique, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Ethics, Professionalism, and Business Practices. In addition, the students will involve in a supervised clinical internship prior to graduation and licensure.
Upon program graduation and licensure, students can work as massage therapists. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of massage therapists is projected to grow 26% from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations.
Massage Therapists can work in an array of settings, such as spas, franchised clinics, physicians’ offices, hotels, or fitness centers. Some massage therapists travel to clients’ homes or offices or work out of their own homes.

This 565-contact hour course combines classroom lecture with a literal "hands-on" laboratory setting, including 50 hours of clinical work. Students who successfully complete the course are prepared to take the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) exam

The 500-Hours direct/on ground Massage Therapist Program is intended to prepare students for state certification and gainful employment as Massage Therapists upon graduation from the program.
