his introductory class provides basic techniques that are applied to the feet and hands. Participants will be given an overview of the physiology of the hand and foot. In each class, various techniques and sequences will be taught during hands-on practice.
Students learn specialized Ayurvedic techniques to purify, balance and renew the body. Hands-on clinical experience includes massage techniques, business development, wellness and retail knowledge.
Our massage therapy program teaches the foundations of this personal service. It will include education in the area of Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Sports, Swedish and Hot Stone Massage Techniques.
Practice and understanding of the complimentary techniques used by massage therapists is applied. These studies include: range of motion, stretching, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and the various energetic practices.
