Alpha School of Massage (Alpha) is the longest-running massage school in Jacksonville. Founded in 1992 and under the current management since 1995, that's over 25 years of experience and reputation building.
Learn advanced massage techniques including prenatal massage, cupping, and hot stone massage. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in workshops with massage professionals and attend a variety of field trips, including a human cadaver lab!
Students learn specialized Ayurvedic techniques to purify, balance and renew the body. Hands-on clinical experience includes massage techniques, business development, wellness and retail knowledge.
We offer an advanced skincare and total body treatment course that covers the full spectrum of beauty esthetics. This 6-month/25-week program includes classroom demonstration and hands-on client practicals in our full-service Student Salon (open to the public).
This course is 700 hours long, and will take you through the process of giving a massage. It is a complex field with strict boundaries and health considerations, and in this course you will learn about all of that and more.
