The Ideal Launchpad for Your Global Career
The world is rapidly and profoundly changing; uncertainty has become the norm, and challenges have emerged on a global scale. Businesses have the ability and the duty to answer these challenges.
This conviction is deeply rooted in INSEAD’s DNA. It resonates with our mission: to bring together people, cultures and ideas to develop responsible leaders who transform business and society. The INSEAD Master in Management (MIM) is a continuation of this mission.
A 14 to 16-month programme, the MIM has an innovative learning approach with an applied problem-solving orientation. It aims to empower the next generation of well-rounded, agile-thinking and innovative individuals who are ready to make a positive impact in today's society.
Admission Requirement
The INSEAD MIM requires participants to have a sound academic foundation and GMAT/GRE score.
Academic foundation
A Bachelor degree from a recognised college/university or proof that you have completed 180 ECTS in any field of studies (business, engineering, social sciences, arts, economics, etc.).
GMAT/GRE
All applicants are required to take a GMAT/GRE test as it provides us with a standardised way of evaluating candidates.
While we do not have a minimum score required for admission, please note that the GMAT is one of the elements that the admission committee will consider when evaluating academic performance. The Admissions Committee likes to see a percentile above 65% in both the Verbal and Quantitative sections and above five for the Integrated Reasoning sections.
For the GRE, the Admissions Committee expects percentiles above 80% in both the Verbal and Quantitative sections.
Languages
Languages are evaluated according to test results. Non-native English speaking candidates should bring evidence of their knowledge through an English test result. We accept TOEFL (recommended score equal or above 103), IELTS (recommended score equal or above 7.5), Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic (recommended score equal or above 70). Candidates who have received a university degree exclusively taught in English are not required to take one of these tests.
In 1999, Insead took a bold step to differentiate itself from other business schools:
it opened a campus in Asia and became the first business school to have two full-fledged campuses with permanent faculty - one in Europe, the other in Asia.
The vision in setting up the Asia Campus was for Insead to "create a bridge between Asia and the rest of the world.”
In 2000, the founder of modern Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, participated in the inauguration of the campus.
Within a few years, the school acknowledged the pressing need to expand the young campus. In 2005, the second phase of campus development began and Insead expanded its presence in Asia.
In 2010-11, with great pride, the school celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Asia Campus.
In 2015, Insead opened the doors to the S$55 million Leadership Development Centre, a six-story, 10,000 square metre building that addresses the accelerating demand for management and leadership education in Asia.
The Centre allows Insead to build its world-class faculty to 70 in Singapore and significantly increases the number of students, executives, top scholars and practitioners on the Asia Campus.
Insead Asia Campus is situated at the corner of the Ayer Rajah Avenue and North Buona Vista Road in the Knowledge Hub district of Singapore. The school’s convenient location is 15 minutes from the financial district and 30 minutes from Changi Airport.
