Course Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the program students will have the ability to:
Identify and analyse complex problems concerning information technology course and design solutions to these problems at a highly skilled level
Draw a depth of technical expertise in at least one facet of information technology sufficient for information technology career together with the capacity to continue developing relevant knowledge, skills and expertise throughout their careers
Manage projects in aspects of information technology relevant to their field of study, including the ability to develop, manage and participate at all levels in team environments
Exercise professionalism and ethics in the context of the global information technology industry
Communicate effectively through a range of verbal, written and/or presentation skills at an advanced level
Apply their knowledge and skills to plan and execute a substantial capstone experience or a research-based project and/or piece of scholarship
Entry Requirements:
Minimum Academic Level
A Bachelor’s degree;
or
Graduate Certificate / Graduate Diploma where minimum entry requirements must be a minimum of bachelor degree;
or
Completion of UON Graduate Certificate in Information Technology
Minimum Language Proficiency
Applicants for this program must satisfy a minimum English Language Proficiency Standard equivalent to an IELTS overall minimum of 6.5 with no subtest result below 6.0.
