The Master of Information Technology program offered at the Wentworth Institute of Higher Education is focused on producing quality graduates, with industry and job ready knowledge and skills who are capable of working within the ICT industry as Developer Programmers. The Master of Information Technology is of four semesters duration full time and includes nested programs at Graduate Certificate level (one semester full time) and Graduate Diploma (two semesters full time) levels.
A feature of these programs is the use of EduLab as a virtual cloud based computer lab that can be assessed by students from any web browser. EduLab consists of two distinct labs. The first is a windows 10 lab environment with the software required for programming, database, and other subjects. The second lab is a KALI Linux environment set up for the networking and security related subjects. Both the labs come with 3 GB RAM and 65 GB hard disk dedicated to a single user.
Another important feature of the Master of Information Technology degree is the requirement to undertake an ICT Engaged subject focused on developing and demonstrating the necessary skills required of a Developer Programmer.
