This programme will address that demand by providing graduates who are able to combine the latest radiological technology with the optimum patient care standards that is the trademark of um’s excellence in medicine.
Radiology is directing medical imaging technologies to diagnose and sometimes treat diseases. Originally, radiology deals mainly in translating x-ray images into diagnosis for the patients. However, the technological advances of today enable the experts of this field to utilise other state-of-the-art equipment, such as ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging to better diagnose and treat diseases.
