AfterSkool’s full-time tutors are all certified by MOE to teach their respective subjects, and include former MOE teachers. All of our full-time tutors are university graduates, with the majority from Singapore universities (NUS, NTU and SMU).
Though in group settings, our classes are kept small so as to ensure no student is left behind. Classes are usually capped at 10 students with co-tutors present for sessions of more than 8 students. This keeps our student-to-teacher ratio small at 5-8 students per teacher.
Our smaller class sizes enable tutors to provide dedicated attention to each student. As tutors build up an understanding of each student’s individual learning needs, they can provide tailored consultations outside class to target gaps in understanding.
AfterSkool has 18 fully-equipped classrooms and is one of the few centres to have teaching technologies such as projectors and visualisers in every classroom. We also have well-designed study spaces for students to use for self-study in their free time and in between classes.
Our MOE-accredited tutors help students excel in the ‘O’ Levels, ‘A’ Levels, IBDP, IGCSE and Integrated Programme. We specialise in Economics, the Maths and the Sciences.
Self-study areas and refreshments are provided for a conducive learning environment.
We are conveniently located in central-west Singapore, within walking distance of Holland Village and Commonwealth MRT stations.
