Course Details

MCSE Core Infrastructure Certification Validates your capability to operate a highly sophisticated and modern Data Center, Identity Management, System Management, Virtualization, Storage and Networking. In this course, you will find a variety of topics to be covered.

The first module is all about planning and deploying a server infrastructure where you will learn about using Assessment Deployment Kit (ADK), Windows Deployment Service (WDS), Azure Infrastructure As A Service (Iaas) and so on. Deploying virtual machines and implementing file storage services including Network File System is also part of this module.

The next module is about Design and Implement Network Infrastructure Service. Here, you will learn about how to work with DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol), DHCPv6, DNS interoperability, design and manage IP address management solution, etc.

The next three modules of the MCSE Core Infrastructure course are Design and implement Network Access Service, Design and Implement an Active Directory Infrastructure (Logical) and Design and Implement Active Directory Infrastructure (Physical).

 

Prerequisites

  • Two prerequisites are there that you need to earn before appearing for the MCSE Core Infrastructure certification.

 

One prerequisite could be earned from one of the two exams, mentioned below:

  • Option – 01: MCSA Windows Server 2012

  • Option – 02: MCSA Windows Server 2016

 

Another prerequisite could be earned from one of the five following exams:

  • 70-744: Securing Windows Server 2016

  • 70-745: Implementing a Software-Defined Datacenter

  • 70-413: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure

  • 70-414: Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure

  • 70-537: Configuring and Operating a Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure Stack Hub
