This learning opportunity is designed for all seafarers in any capacity wishing to pursue a career at sea. To achieve the basic procedures in First Aid onboard a vessel, the competencies as described in the STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) and SAMSA (South African Maritime Safety Authority) Codes respectively:
MOGA is an initiative of South African Oil & Gas Alliance (SAOGA), which serves the Interests of Industry and Members in the Upstream and Midstream Oil and Gas Sectors in Africa.
SAOGA is dedicated to promoting the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas value chain, primarily in South Africa and regionally in Southern Africa.
The organisation operates as a partnership between the public and private sectors, receiving public funding to carry out a range of industry development activities and working to promote the interests of members. It is overseen by an independent volunteer Board of Directors from industry and a number of other key stakeholders.
Basic First Aid course is offered by Safety Link. We specialize in the fields of Occupational Health and Safety Training, System Implementation, System Coordinating and Auditing.
First Aid training is offered by MCD Training Centre. We have a responsibility to provide expertise and opportunity to educate and develop our learners in a practical and viable way. That our training methods and processes are fair, valid, reliable and transparent.
First Aid training is offered by Linem Training Centre.for all skill level. We provide practical, quality training for earth moving machinery, practical courses, health and safety courses and computers skills.
First Aid course is offered by SHEQ & EnviroProjects. SHEQ & EnviroProjects is a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) Level 1 contributor, company owned by a young South African woman.
Basic First Aid Level 3 follows after Basic First Aid Level 2. This course is designed around four modules covering topics like managing the scene of an emergency, the basic human anatomy and physiology as well as the primary and secondary survey.
