The Certificate IV in Engineering CNC Programming course provides higher-level skills to those who hold a Certificate III in Engineering in Fabrication or Mechanical trade.
Upon successful completion of this course, you'll gain knowledge of the methodologies required for CNC setup and CNC programming skills. This will prepare you for a job as a CAD/CAM or CNC programmer.
You'll receive training and assessment in setting, operation, and programming of CNC Machining Centres and Lathes. You'll gain skills and knowledge for 2D and 3D CAD, as well as the CAM required for CNC programming.

This Software Carpentry workshop will introduce the building blocks of the Python scripting environment. Participants will start by exploring the command-line interface and basic programming concepts using Unix, before moving on to learn about simple and complex data types, conditionals in python.
Starting from simple examples, this 3-day course will build up your Java skills so that in the end you will write code with confidence and clarity. You will learn to create Java classes containing methods (including the main method) and fields which you can put in a package.
