The Certificate IV in Engineering CNC Programming course provides higher-level skills to those who hold a Certificate III in Engineering in Fabrication or Mechanical trade.

Upon successful completion of this course, you'll gain knowledge of the methodologies required for CNC setup and CNC programming skills. This will prepare you for a job as a CAD/CAM or CNC programmer. 

You'll receive training and assessment in setting, operation, and programming of CNC Machining Centres and Lathes. You'll gain skills and knowledge for 2D and 3D CAD, as well as the CAM required for CNC programming.

Admission requirements

You must have completed one of the following

  • MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade

  • MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade

  • MEM30305 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade

  • MEM30319 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade.
