The 2-day Mental Health First Aid course focuses on the four most common mental health disorders including substance related, mood related, anxiety and trauma related, and psychotic disorders.
Learning the essential skills for assisting those with trauma histories is fundamental.Â
Students will explore the impact of trauma on child development, drawing on attachment, neurobiological, and socio-cultural components of trauma.
Join us for an enriching five-day program that weaves together Indigenous and Western knowledge to provide a two-eyed seeing understanding of trauma and grief.
