It deepens their understanding of a model for assessing individuals with mental health disorders and helps them promote their social participation.
The International Network on the Disability Creation Process (INDCP) is a non-profit organization based in Quebec (Canada) that was founded in 1986. The organization works in the field of disability and rehabilitation.
All the activities of the INDCP are based on the Human Development Model – Disability Creation Process (HDM-DCP), a model dedicated to understanding and improving the quality of life of people with impairments or disabilities.
To this day, the INDCP offers a classification, two assessment tools and various trainings that are related to the HDM-DCP. In addition, the INDCP also offers a journal known as Human Development, Disability and Social Change.
Mission
The mission of the organization is to promote the most appropriate response to the needs of people with impairments and through the promotion, application and development of the conceptual framework for the Human Development Model – Disability Creation Process (HDM-DCP).
