This course provides in-depth training for machine operators that adheres to CAN/CSA B354.4-02 (R2013). Students receive theory and practical instruction on the safe operation of machinery, applicable OHSA regulations, accident prevention, safe handling of materials, loads and stability, and operational controls.
Understanding travel restraint systems and options for equipment are discussed and put into practice during practical training
Students must complete and pass a theory and practical skills test to attain certification.?
Recertification every three years is recommended or sooner if new equipment is put into use; or the operator has had an incident or is otherwise struggling.
