Course Details

 This course provides training in the safe operation of a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more), involving the operation of a telescoping, hinged or articulated device to support a platform to elevate workers, equipment and materials.

A High Risk Work Licence will only be issued by Workplace Health & Safety Queensland to applicants at least 18 years of age at the time of assessment.

 Licenced operators who have let their HRWL lapse may apply for re-assessment.  Please contact SWQ Training to discuss.

  • This course is national recognised (accredited).
  • Participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the unit of competency.
  • Successful participants will also receive an AS1 (Assessment Summary Form), which is required to apply for your High Risk Work Licence with Workplace Health and Safety. Applications for High Risk Work Licences must be made within 60 days of assessment.
