Micro Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) – Presentation Basics

Presentations are an increasing part of working life though few people prepare for them with any of the structured methods they use in other parts of their work. This Micro VILT will give inexperienced presenters the foundation on which to build their practical skills whilst also giving more experienced presenters a chance to reassess their presenting methods and delivery.

Following this Micro VILT, participants will understand why efficient preparation needs a consistent approach. The Micro VILT focuses attention on audience analysis to ensure the speaker’s objectives match the expectations of the audience. It will also highlight why effective presentations are as much about organisation as they are about delivery. Finally, the latter is looked at through the design and use of slides, and the need to be aware of and in control of the body language.

Presenting is a practical skill but this intensive Micro VILT will give participants the confidence of knowing that the process they are going through is tried and tested.
