This course introduces the student to the sterile processing role in a health care environment, microbiology concepts, infection control, aseptic techniques and workplace environmental hazards.
Students will learn basic anatomy, medical terminology and microbiology with special emphasis on infection control practices for employees in the sterile supply processing area.
