In the course of day-to-day life, we can all too easily become lost in our thoughts or distractions and miss out on what is around us and what is truly important in our lives. Mindfulness is a practice of “paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judging”.
Developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, this is an 8-week course that offers guided mindfulness practices to help practitioners reconnect with the present moment.

Successful participants will achieve a Mental Health First Aid certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
