In the course of day-to-day life, we can all too easily become lost in our thoughts or distractions and miss out on what is around us and what is truly important in our lives. Mindfulness is a practice of “paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judging”.
Developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, this is an 8-week course that offers guided mindfulness practices to help practitioners reconnect with the present moment.

This 12-week skills training teaches specific skills to increase an individual’s capabilities to cope with emotions and experience life differently than they currently are.
